South Australia’s Skilled Occupation List Opening to Offshore Applicants

Applicants currently residing offshore may now apply for South Australiaโ€™s Skilled Migration as the state will open Registration of Interest (RoI) in a further 259 occupations from 16 February 2022.

The requirements for state nomination, including the subclasses offered, will vary depending on the occupation.

Listed below are the group of skills currently in demand for South Australia:-

2 Specialist Managers
3 Hospitality, Retail and Service Managers
4 Art and Media Professionals
5 Business, Human Resource and Marketing Professionals
6 Design, Engineering, Science and Transport Professionals
7 Education Professionals
8 Health Professionals
9 ICT Professionals
10 Legal, Social and Welfare Professionals
11 Engineering, ICT and Science Technicians
12 Automotive and Engineering Trades Workers
13 Construction Trades Workers
14 Electrotechnology and Telecommunications Trades Workers
15 Food Trades Workers
16 Skilled Animal and Horticultural Workers
17 Other Technicians and Trades Workers
18 Health and Welfare Support Workers
19 Protective Services Workers
20 Sports and Personal Service Workers
21 Office Managers and Program Administrators
22 Other Clerical and Administrative Workers
23 Sales Representative and Agents
24 Sales Support Workers

Prospective offshore applicants having skills in an occupation that is available on South Australiaโ€™s Skilled Occupation List and meeting the minimum Department of Home Affairs (DHA) requirements and the state-specific occupation requirements can lodge an RoI from 16 February 2022.
